Our mini-Shetland stud is situated in Ninde, a few meters from Father Damien’s birthplace.(Ninde is a hamlet of Tremelo)

For many years now we have put a lot of effort in breeding the pure Shetland ponies race.We breed Shetland ponies exactly the same way they like to breed on the Shetland Isles which results in ponies with expressive heads, long manes and beautiful thick tails.
At our stud we make sure our ponies - dispite being small - have strong legs, a firm step, an easy tred and sufficient lifting the feet.
We prefer to breed slim and compact yet firm ponies.

The colour of our ponies vary from "crème dun" to "palomino" to "liver chestnut".
Most of our ponies (up to 90%) have a liver chestnut colour (or gradation of). Still we also posses a few black and brown coloured ponies.

Currently approximately 30 ponies with a height between 27 and 31 inches are grazing on our meadows.

All our ponies comply with demands of the British pedigree and come with a full set of official documents.
